When it comes to race and representation in the United States it is important to have multiple perspectives. When having two perspectives people get a better understanding of how things are and are more likely to get truthful information. When reading the book, “Americanah” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the book was seen through the eyes of two people allowing the audience to view the perspectives of both characters and make their own suggestions about how things happened. Here in America, there are many different people with many different views about how things are based on their personal experiences and the way they observe the places and people around us. If people only had a single perspective of the world they would not be able to learn about all the different things going on in the world.
